--She married Wm. Gurley Allen. They lived in Green Sea, SC through 1930, later moving to Charlotte. The couple had 4 children: Dewey Jesse, Cornelle, William Gurley, Jr., and Rita Frances Allen.
--Cause of death: heart disease.
