Services for Joseph Peterson Rimanosky, 40, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church, 3920 Pine Ave.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston.
Rimanosky, 40, died unexpectedly Monday (May 17, 1993) in his Ferry Avenue home.
A lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, Rimanosky was a 1973 graduate of Niagara County Community College and a 1976 graduate of Buffalo State College. He worked in the bakery department of Tops Markets and also worked as dairy manager at Slipko's Market.
He was a communicant of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, where he served as senior warden for 11 years and as choir director. He was active in many church projects.
He taught a course in ethnic cooking at Niagara County Community College and had a particular love for Eastern European dishes.
In addition to baking and cooking, he was also skilled in the art of Pysanky egg decorating.
Survivors include a brother, Dimitri "Mitch" Rimanosky of Latham and a niece, Tara.
