Craig Darr Winter

Craig Darr Winter, 33, Rural Route 2, Douglas, Kan., died Saturday, Jan. 19, at his home.
He was born Jan. 10, 1952, at Wichita, the son of Alvin L. and Florence Meyer Winter.
He was married to Ann Harrid  Aug. 6, 1977, at Americus, Kan.
He was an industrial engineer for Boeing Aircraft, Wichita, and was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church, Augusta.
He attended Wichita Lutheran Grade School and was a graduate of Wichita South East High School and of Fort Hays State University. He held bachelor's and master's degrees in biology.
Mr. Winter did research work in Mexico in 1975, and was with the U.S. Soil Conservation Service from 1976 to 1979.
He is survived by his wife Ann and daughter Phoebe, both of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Winter, Wichita; and one brother, Rod Winter, Douglas.
Interment services were held at the St. John Lutheran Cemetery, rural Lincoln. Memorial services were to be Thursday afternoon, Jan. 24, at the Christ Lutheran Church, Augusta.
