Funeral services for Judge Marion Bryant, 82, who died at the home of a daughter in Corsicana July 9, were held Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Missionary Baptist Church there.
The services were conducted by the Rev. A.J. Kirkland, pastor of the church, and the Rev. Elmo Hollingsworth of Glen Rose. Burial was in the Oakwood Cemetery.
Judge Bryant, a native of Mississippi, had resided in Navarro County for about 50 years. He was employed by oil companies for many years and served as Justice of the Peace.
Surviving are three sons, H.W. Bryant of Gladewater, C.F. Bryant and H.J. Bryant; and three daughters, Mrs. A.W. Ray of Corsicana, Mrs. L.W. Herrin of Galveston and Mrs. R.J. Washburn of Athens.
