Harold Weston Skinner was the son of Hamilton McQuinney Skinner and Electa Belle Weston.

Harold Weston Skinner, 69, of 400 Hamilton Street, New Bethlehem, died Sunday, February 16, 1969 in his home.

Born January 20, 1900 in New Bethlehem, he was a son of H M and Belle Weston Skinner.

He was married June 24, 1922 to Malvene Annette Bleakney, who survives.

Mr. Skinner was part-owner of H M Skinner and Sons, New Bethlehem. He retired in 1965. He was a member of the St Charles Catholic Church in New Bethlehem. Mr Skinner was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Knoxville Elk Lodge 1196.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by six children, David M Skinner of Charlottesville, Virginia, James Skinner of Kittanning, Lyle and Haley Skinner of New Bethlehem, Mrs. Dean (Joy) Meredith of Belleville and Mrs. Gordon (Amy)Sargent of Lexington, Kentucky; and 16 grandchildren.

He is also survived by four sisters, Mrs Jack Johnson and Mrs Kathryn Keller of Clarion, Mrs Charles P Leach of New Bethlehem, and Mrs. Earl Billingsler of Philadelphia; and four brothers, Jared, Edgar and Frank Skinner of New Bethlehem and Elmer Skinner of Fairmount City.

Friends are being received in the Robert F Mateer Funeral Home in New Bethlehem. Funeral services in his memory will be conducted at 10:30 am Thursday in the St Charles Catholic Church, New Bethlehem, with the Rev. Father Charles Skinner, of Erie, a nephew of the decedent, officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
