The child, who is survived by a twin sister and three other brothers and sisters, was playing in the back yard when missed by his mother, Mrs. E. G. Ainsworth, whose husband is general manager of the Fresno Compress and Warehouse Company.
The body was found lodged under a culvert in the old California Avenue ditch which runs close to the Ainsworth home at Orange and Railroad avenues. Firemen and physicians were unable to revive the child. Coroner J. H. Kennedy said no inquest will be held.
