Robert K. Haden, 67, Napa

Robert Kenneth Haden, 67, of Napa, Calif., died Monday in a Vallejo hospital. He was born in Texas, had been a former resident of San Bernardino, and a 50-year resident of California.

Haden was a retired male nurse.

Survivors include his widow, Alice, a daughter, Vernell Baker of San Bernardino; a sister, Mrs. Robert Prather of San Bernardino; a brother, Lewis, of Rialto; one grandchild and one great-great-grandchild.

Services are pending at Pierce Mortuary in Napa. The body will be forwarded to Panhandle, Texas, for further services and burial.

PANHANDLE - Graveside services for Robert Kenneth Haden,70, of Napa, Calif., a former Gray County resident, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Panhandle Cemetery.

The Rev. Joe D. Ray of the Borger First Baptist Church, will officiate.

A retired employe of the State of California, Mr. Haden was a native of Oklahoma. He moved to Gray County, Tex., in 1917, to Panhandle in 1919 and to Pampa in 1920.

He moved to California in 1923 and lived there 47 years.

Survivors include his wife, Alice; a daughter, Mrs. Vernell Baker of San Bernardino, Calif.; his stepmother, Mrs. Wilma Haden of Ava, Mo., four brothers, James E. of Perryton, G. Ray of Richardson, Louis of Rialto, Calif., and Douglas of Pasadena, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Griffith of Plainview and Mrs. Morene Prater of San Bernardino, Calif.; a grandchild and a great-great-grandchild.
