Franklin - Roberta Rose Hughes died May 18 at Franklin Meadows. She was 81.
Born April 27, 1920, in Brazil, she was a daughter of Roy and Eunice Angleton. She Married Lawrence L. "Jake" Hughes who died Dec. 26 1994. Mrs. Hughes was a 1938 graduate of George Washington High School and had been a homemaker. She was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the American Legion Post at Guion Road in Indianapolis.
Survivors include a son, Edward Alan Byard of Thorntown: daughters Marianne Dixon of Baltimore, Md:, Debra Lynn Browning of Indianapolis: sisters Mary Ragan of Speedway and Phyllis Pear of Plainfield: brothers Hugh David Angleton of Dunnellon, Fla., and Paul Angustus Angheton of California: and granddaughters, Shari Lynette Dixon of Baltimore, Md.
Graveside services were held May 25th. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Brownsburg. Memorials may be made to Franklin Meadows Hospice, 1285 W. Jefferson Street, Franklin, In. 46131.
