The child had been playing about the barn while his father was grinding oats, and later went up into the haymow to play. His father missed him after he had been gone about an hour, and went in search of him. His coat was found in the haymow and then his body was found wedged into the chute of the oat bin.
The little boy is survived by his parents and one older brother, Carl besides other relatives. The family lives on the farm of the former Assemblyman, Carl Koenig, Sr., grandfather of the victim.
The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Westfield Stone church. Burial was made in the church cemetery.
