According to the family bible, Eliza Ann Driver was born on September 7, 1853. She married Lewis Patrick Clark on February 21, 1894. She raised his 4 daughters, and died on August 28, 1914, at her home in Oglethorpe, Georgia. Her obituary states she was 61 years old and before her marriage was Miss Eliza Driver of Schley county, and she was a much loved by her neighbors and was a lifelong member of the Methodist church.
