George Aaron ALLRED, 79, died July 04, 1977 at his home in Hidden Valley, Arizona, following a heart attack.
Born December 31, 1898 in Ephraim, Utah to Charles Erastus and Anna Malvina Nielson ALLRED.
Married Christine PETERSON May 16, 1917 in the Manti LDS Temple.
Retired from U. S. Forest Service in 1959.
He and his wife served on an LDS mission in Texas, and also a mission at the Manti Temple.
Served term as Mayor of Ephraim, 1966-69.
He later married Mrs. Hattie WRIGHT of Pocatello, Idaho.
Survivors: widow, Hidden Valley, Arizona; a son, George Allen ALLRED, Salt Lake City; three daughters: Mrs. J. Ray (Elaine) JARRETT, Huntsville, Utah, and MRs. Gene (Betty) HANSON, Salt Lake City. He is also survived by five step-children, thirty-five grandchildren and thirty-six great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 08, 1977 at 1:00 p.m. in the Ephraim North Ward Chapel. Friends may call one hour prior to Services.
Interment will be at Ephraim City Cemetery.
