Hymy Guzick
Sherman, Texas (Sp.) - Services for Hymy Guzick, 83, retired Frisco Railroad machinist who died Friday at 4031 Mather Courts, Dallas, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Weiland-Merritt Home, Dallas. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Sunday in West Hill Cemetery, Sherman.
Mr. Guzick, a native of Warsaw, Poland, came to the U.S. in 1911, and to Texas in 1923. He worked in Sherman for the Frisco Railroad for 27 years, retiring in 1949. He moved to Dallas in 1949. Mr. Guzick was a member of Temple Emanuel, Dallas.
He is survived by four sons, including Sam Guzick of Detroit, Mich.; Leon Guzick of Bay City, Morris Guzick of Sherman, and Frank Guzick of Dallas.
