Maurine Elizabaeth Griffith, 72, Silver Lake, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002 at a Rossville Nursing Home.

Mrs. Griffith was a certified nursing assistant and worked as a heart technican at Stormont Vail Regional Health Center for thirty years.

She was born Ot 19, 1929 in Delia, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Day Reedy. She had lived in the Silver Lake for 40 years.

Mrs. Griffith was a member of the First Baptist Church of Silver Lake,Kansas.

She married Arther D. Griffith on July 21, 1951 in Topeka,Kansas. He survives of the home.

Survivors alsoinclude two sons, David G. Griffith, Ozawkie and Marvin D. Griffith, Delia; a daughter, Dorothy E. Arnold, Silver Lake, eight grandchildren, two step grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren two step great grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Parker Price Mortuary Chapel, Topeka. Burial will be in Prairie Home Cemetery. Mrs. Griffith will lie in state after 3 p.m. Thursday at Parker-Price Morturary, where the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m.
