Barriere, all of Auburn, and Laurence E. Barriere of West Boylston; four sisters, Irene C., wife of Nicholas Colaizzi, Edna M., wife of Philip Scerra, both of Auburn, Rita B., wife of Maurice Toupin of Grafton, and Mrs. Yvonne M. Johnson of Sutton, and 13 grandchildren.
He was born in Auburn, son of Alfred E. and Emma L. (Contois) Barriere, and had lived in Rochdale for 30 years.
The funeral was held from Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St., Worcester with a Mass in St. Aloysius Church, 2 Church Place, Rochdale. Burial was in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
