Anderson services planned

Casper - Services for John Q. Anderson, 56, of Lysite, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Bustard Funeral Home.

Harold Everson, pastor of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, will officiate.

Anderson died Tuesday at the Veterans' Hospital at Cheyenne after a long illness.

He was born on March 18, 1919 at North Port, Wash.

On July 15, 1946 he married Gladine Look at Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. They moved to Wyoming in 1960 and lived in the Lysite and Lost Cabin area, where he was a heavy equipment operator for Fremont County.

Anderson was an Army World War II veteran and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Survivors are the widow, Gladine, of Lysite; one daughter of Casper; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Mae Hanlin of Washington, Mrs. Marion Day of Idaho and Mrs. Katherine Carlisle of Shirley Basin; and one brother, James Anderson of Basin, Mont. He is also survived by four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, with American Legion military rites.
