Kathleen Callis Larsen was born in Coalville, Utah on April 15, 1905 and passed away on March 28, 2001 at her home in Danville, CA.

Mrs. Larsen, an outstanding homemaker, was a former resident of Orem, Utah for several years. Prior to this time,

she lived in Detroit, MI. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in several teaching and leadership positions, including president of the Relief Society and Young Women's organizations as well as being a ward organist. In Detroit, she was active in the Faculty Wives Association at Wayne State University and P.E.O., a national women's organization. Her hobbies besides music included quilting and reading; she authored three personal histories for family members.

Funeral services will be conducted in Danville, CA on March 31st. There will be a visitation on Monday, April 2nd in Salt Lake City at noon at the Larkin Mortuary 260 E. South Temple Salt Lake City, followed by a brief informal service at 1 p.m. for family and friends.

Interment will follow at The Salt Lake City Cemetery.
