Miss Dorothy Stephenson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Stephenson of Akron, and Henry C. Plueger, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Plueger of Grant Township, were quietly married Sunday, Dec. 21 at 2 o'clock, at the parsonage of the Christ Lutheran church in Grant Township.
Rev. Richard Fruehling, the pastor, performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride was dressed in an aqua brocaded taffeta ballerina length gown.
Miss Joyce Plueger, a niece of the groom, was maid of honor. She wore an afternoon frock of gold and black.
Both the bride and her attendant wore identical corsages of White Baby mums and fern.
Duane Plueger acted as best man for his uncle. The groom and best man both wore conventional dark business suits.
A reception was held Sunday evening at 7 o'clock at the country home of the brides's parents for 30 relatives.
The three tiered wedding cake was baked by Mrs. Herman Kruse, a niece of the groom.
The bride was born and raised in Plymouth county. She is a graduate of the Union township consolidated school.
After a short wedding trip, the newly weds will be at home on a farm in Preston Township.
