Funeral services for Nelline Rippetoe, 74, of Cookeville will be held Sunday, November 14 at 3 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Davis and Pastor David Corley officiating. Interment will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Rippetoe died Thursday November 11, 2010 at her home.
She was born October 29, 1936 in Granville, TN to the late Thomas Ed and Lena Opal Kirby Carter.
Mrs. Rippetoe was a member of Cookeville First Assembly. She was retired from Nashville Memorial Hospital in Nashville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Wilson Rippetoe who died June 27, 2009, and a baby brother, Glenda Carter.
Mrs. Rippetoe is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Linda Rippetoe of Hermitage, TN, daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Tim Dunn of Cookeville, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Elise and Joe Adams of Cookeville, Judy and Jeff Urffer of Nashville, four grandchildren, Justin (Jessa) Rippetoe, Jesse Rippetoe, Tyler Dunn and Tanner Dunn.
