Mrs. Gladys Mary Cahoon, 53, died at the Valley General Hospital Sunday afternoon. In ill health for five years, Mrs. Cahoon had been in the hospital for six months. Born in Fernie, BC, June 18, 1901, Mrs. Cahoon moved to Roslyn as a child and attended Roslyn public schools. She came to Ellensburg from Cle Elum in 1929 and has lived here since. She was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter of Cle Elum.

Mrs. Cahoon was preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer M. Razey, who was killed in an auto accideent July 22, 1934, in the Yakima Canyon. She was also preceded in death by her second husband, Art W. Cahoon of Ellensburg on July 31, 1953. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Margery Smith and Mrs. Gladys Brigman, both of Ellensburg; a brother, George Miller; a half-sister, Mrs. Laura Salmon; a half-brother, Gordon Miller; a stepsister, Mrs. Rose Flummerfelt and a stepmother, Mrs. T. K. Miller, of Roslyn and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in the Evenson Chapel Wednesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Dan J. Rueb will officiate. Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery.
