Mr. Verwolf was born in Corsica, S.D. He came to Yakima 41 years ago and for 35 years was employed by the Roche Fruit Co. At the time of his death he was a superintendent for the company.
Mr. Verwolf was a member of the Ahtanum Congregational Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Verwolf; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Stewart of Yakima; three grandchildren, Cindy, Deborah, and Dougie Stewart of Yakima; and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 30th at 11 a.m. in the Keith & Keith Chapel. Rev. V. W. Steele, chaplain of Summitview Manor, will officiate. Interment will be in Terrace Heights Memorial Park. Bearers will be John Roche, Glyn Koboski, John Huysman, Theodore Sires, Art Lane and Ralph Pluard. If friends desire, memorials may be given to the Building Fund of the Ahtanum Congregational Church.
