Wilbur C. Steckman, 72, died Tuesday at his home,
317 Orange St. Funeral services will be held
at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Geo. M.Wittich Funeral
Home. Intermentwill be at Greenwood cemetery.
Visitation will begin at the funeral home after
7 o'clock tonight.He was born March 7, 1901, at
Andalusia, Ill., the son of Lincoln and Emma Butte Steckman. He was a member of the VFW. Survivors
include one son, Ernest M. Steckman, Winchester,
Idaho; one brother, Harry Steckman, Muscatine; one
sister, Mrs. Leola Jameson, Ashley. Mo.; and four grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his
parents, one son, two brothers, and three sisters.
