Mrs. Adam Kolb, Jr., died in Pasadena, California, Saturday afternoon, according to a message received by George Kolb last night. Her mother, Mrs. Eunice Emery of Maine, with Mrs. George Kolb Sr. and daughter Clara and Mrs. T.L. Handy of this city, left Friday evening for Pasadena in response to a a telegram that Mrs. Kolb was sinking rapidly. They will not reach there until Tuesday morning.
Mrs. Kolb, who was Miss Love Emery, daughter of the late Hiram Emery, a prominent Michigan lumberman, was born and lived all but two years of her life on the west side. About two years ago she and her mother removed to Pasadena, California. A year later she was married to Adam Kolb Jr., of this city. Shortly afterward Mr. and Mrs. Kolb returned to Bay City, remaining here until two months ago, when Mrs. Kolb's health failing, they returned to Pasadena.
Mrs. Kolb is survived by her husband and a nine months old son, her mother, Mrs. Eunice Emery, three sisters, Mrs. T.L. Handy of this city, Mrs. Robert Gaylord and Mrs. L. N. Merritt of Pasadena, California, and one brother, Hiram Emery of Seattle, Washington. Mrs. Kolb will be buried in Pasadena.

Word has been received in the city by George Kolb Sr., telling of the death of Mrs. Adam Kolb Jr. in Pasadena, California. Mrs. Kolb formerly Miss Love Emery, was born in Bay City and when but six years old her parents moved west , remaining there until she was 12 years old. From there they moved back to this city and lived here until Miss Emery was sixteen. They then moved to Pasadena, and lived there since. Miss Emery was married to Adam Kolb a little over two years ago and they have resided in Pasadena. Mrs. Eunice Emery, mother of Mrs. Kolb was in Maine when she was notified of her daughter's serious illness. Mrs. Every left Pasadena as soon as possible but will not arrive there until tomorrow. Mrs. George Kolb, Sr., daughter Clara, and Mrs. T.L. Handy, sister of the deceased, have also left for Pasadena.

Mrs. George Kolb, of 900 South Wenona Avenue, received word from her son, Adam G. Kolb, of Pasadena, California, yesterday that his wife was in a critical condition. Mrs. Adam Kolb left for California several months ago to benefit her health. Mrs. George Kolb, daughter Clara and the eight months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Kolb will leave for Pasadena this morning.
