She was the daughter of the late Leon and Lucy Robinson. She was the devoted wife of Howard B. Hyde whom preceded her in death after 49 years of marriage. RAchel was a lifelong resident of Amelia, Virginia.
She joined the Mt.Olive Baptist Church at an early age and later joined the Liberty Baptist Church where she was a faithful member. She is preceded in death by a daughter Lucy H. Ross; Sister; Mary Tyler and grandson Rashawn Hyde.
