Roy L. Titus, 56, passed away accidentally Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at his residence 9663 Tarr Rd., Greenfield Twp. He was born on August 29, 1950 in Erie PA a son of Helen L. Titus and the late Harold Titus. Roy was a 1969 graduate of Wattsburg High School and was employed for 38 years in the Line Maintenance Department at Welch Foods in North East. He was a social member of V.F.W. Post #4789 in North East. Roy was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman and enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. He was very mechanical and could build and repair anything. Roy enjoyed spending time with his family and was voted "Worlds Best Dad" by his seven daughters and will be missed by all, but forever in their hearts. In addition to his mother, he is survived by seven daughters, Theresa Lechtner of Waterford, Michele Deiderich and Cheryl Parkhurst, both of Erie, Christina Titus of North East, JoAnne Righi and her husban! d Steve of North East, Kimberly Titus and Katherine Titus, both of Wattsburg, four sisters, Jeanette Skarzinski and her husband LaVern of North East, Barbara Shumac, Diane Eret and her husband Frank of North East and Karen Rose and her husband Scott of North East. Also survived by three grandchildren, Jeffrey Deiderich, Tyler Parkhurst and Lindsey Parkhurst and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, Independent Care Group Affiliate, 92 S. Lake St., North East, Pa., on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend funeral services there on Monday at 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. Mark E. Hecht will officiate. Interment will be in North East Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Greenfield Vol. Fire Dept., P.O. Box 67, North East, PA 16428 or to the charity of ones choice.
