Hayward Douglas
BROOKHAVEN - Hayward Douglas, 77, a resident oif Brookhaven, died May 24, 1989, in St. Dominic's Hospital of Jackson.
Visitation will be 4:30 - 10 tonight in Brookhaven Funeral Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in thefunera; chapel. The Rev. Floyd Higginbotham and the Rev. Nolan Brister will officiate. Burialwill be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Douglas was born Sept. 3, 1911, in Picayune. He was the son of Will C. Douglas and Ada Williams Douglas.
He was a retired boiler maker. He also was a member of Topisaw Masonic Lodge and Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Mr. Douglas is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nita Douglas of Brookhaven; two sisters, Loretta Strahan of Hattiesburg and Mrs. Willie B. Brister of GBrookhaven; one brother, Horatio B. Douglas of Brookhaven; and two grandchildren.
