Marge D. Hight, longtime resident of Pomerene, Ariz., entered eternal rest on June 25, 2010, after a lengthy illness. Marge was born on Aug. 4, 1917, in Kosciousko County, Indiana, to parents, Oliver and Emma (Heckaman) George. She is the second youngest child of 11 children.

She is preceded in death by her son, Dwight Eugene Hight, her parents, four sister and six brothers: Hazel, Verl, Forrest, Marie, Lloyd, Dale, Joy, Boy-stil born, Oliver, Jr., and Betty.

She trusted Christ as her Savior as a young girl during a revival at the County Line Ebenezer Evangelical Church in Kosciousko County, Indiana.

She married Rex M. Hight on Aug. 18, 1940. She is survived by her husband of Pomerene, Ariz. and three daughters and sons-in-law: Sue Ellen (Michael) Riley of Sugarloaf, Colo.; Kathleene Rae (Larry) Pondoff of Benson, Ariz.; Dianne Beth (Bill) Konkle of Morristown, Tenn. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on June 29, 2010 at Calvary Baptist Church, Benson, Ariz., Pastor Larry Pondoff officiating, where she has been a member for 11 years.

Interment was in Pomerene Cemetery, Pomerene, Ariz.

Expressions of condolences may be sent to Calvary Baptist Church in her memory.
