GEORGETTA J. ABBS, 68

GEORGETTA J. ABBS of Wheeling Rd., Carp Lake, died Dec. 26, 1984, at Little Traverse Division of Northern Michigan Hospitals.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at the Mackinaw City Bible Church. The Rev. Lyle Hoover and the Rev. Reid Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Mackinaw City.

The former GEORGETTA J. GRAMES was born Oct. 11, 1916, at Carp Lake, the daughter of MR. AND MRS. BURTON GRAMES. On Aug. 22, 1936, she married BENJAMIN ABBS in Cheboygan.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Abbs is survived by two sons, ROBERT GRAMES of Carp Lake and WILLIAM ABBS of Carnesville, Ga.; five daughters, MRS. MELVIN (PATRICIA) PLOTKOWSKI of Westland, JUDY BRODD of Dearborn, MRS. FRED (MARY) SIKKENS of Carp Lake, MRS. WILLIAM (SANDRA) HUGHES of Carp Lake and MRS. DOUGLASS (SUSAN) GRACE of Pontiac; many grandchildren; one brother, LEO GRAMES of Cheboygan; one sister LETHA TOBIAS of Kissimmee, Fla. Two children, MICHAEL and GEORGE ABBS, preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the Christian Funeral Home in Cheboygan from 6-9 p.m. today and from 12:30 p.m. until time of service on Saturday, at the Mackinaw City Bible Church.

The family suggests memorials to the Mackinaw City Bible Church. Envelopes for that purpose are available at the Christian Funeral Home.
