Mrs. Irvin Tittle Died at Her Home in Oklahoma -- Body Taken to Rising Sun for Burial.
Mr. and Mrs. James Walker of Mungen, Ohio stopped in the city this morning en route to Toledo whither they went to meet the body of Mr. Walker's sister, the late Mrs. Irvin (Anna Walker) Tittle. She died Friday at her home in Skitow {Skiatook}, Oklahoma as the result of terrible burns which she received on January 26th in a gas stove explosion. The remains were taken to Rising Sun for burial.
Mrs. Tittle was the daughter of Joseph Green Walker and Sylvia Ann Harris Walker. She was born forty years ago in Scott Township, Sandusky County and had resided in and near there most of her life. Up until four years ago she and her family had been residents of Rising Sun; then removed to Oklahoma.
Besides her brother James, two other brothers and a sister survive her: John Walker of Sandusky County; Bert Walker of Lancaster, O and Eldora Belle Walker Cornelius of Kansas Station, Seneca County. She leaves her husband Erwin Tittle and two daughters, Edna Fern, aged 16 and Doris, age 14.
