Arthur Horn, aged six years, son of Milton Horn, of Knobs, Monroe county, died at the Hinton hospital at eight o'clock this morning from a ruptured appendix and general peritonitis. The little fellow was brought to the hospital on No 5 last night by Dr J E Roles, of Union, as a last effort to save his life. His condition, however, was too precarious to admit of an operation and nothing could be done for him by the hospital surgeons. The remains were taken back on No 14 this afternoon.
