Lawrence Ratliff died at the home of his wife's parents in Irish Corner District, this county, on November 18, 1921. Mr Ratliff was an excellent man. He was a member of the Baptist Church at Ronceverte and held in high esteem by all who knew him. His body was laid to rest in the Ratliff cemetery at Knobs, Monroe county. He married Miss Annie Baker, of Ronceverte, about five years ago.
