Mr. Mary B. Lippencott, 59, widow of Jesse D. Lippencott, died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 1950 at her home on East Franklin street, Waynesburg, following a lingering illness. Mrs. Lippencott had been a semi-invalid for the past four years and had been in failing health for several years.

A daughter of the late Andrew and Emma Rhome Braden, she was born Oct. 5, 1890, at Littleton, Pa., but had spent all her married life in Waynesburg and vicinity. She had been a member of the Morrisville Methodist Church for 25 years. She married Jesse D. Lippencott, well known painter, who died in 1945.

Surviving are two daughters and one son, Miss Elsie Lippencott, at home; Mrs. Thomas Graybell, Jr., of Waynesburg, and Robert Lippencott, at home. Five sons and one daughter are deceased; Kenneth, Donald, Ralph, who was killed in World War II, William, Russell, and Emma. She also leaves three granddaughters, two grandsons, ond three half-sisters, Mrs. Charles Tennant of Waynesburg, R. D. 4, Mrs. Oscar Hunnell of Brave, and Mrs. Edward Stiles of Waynesburg.
