Aged 61, died on Monday, December 10, in a Madison hospital after a brief illness. The former Marie Marty was born on April 26, 1912 in Berne, Switzerland. Mrs. Meier lived in the Darlington area most of her life.
She is survived by a son Jake, Darlington; two daughters, Mrs. John Kubisiak, Babcock, Wis. and Mrs. Ronald Quinn, Darlington; eight grandchildren; her stepmother, Mrs. Alfred Marty, Darlington; a brother, John Marty, Darlington; and a sister, Mrs. Paul Weibel, Madison.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 10:30 pm at Holy Rosary church, Darlington. Friends may call after 3 pm on Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the Steil Funeral Home, where a scripture service will be held at 8 pm. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
