Dale M Sloan
Dale passed away on April 13 2009 in Mesa Arizona at the age of 80. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War, served many years as a dispatcher for the State Police Dept in Houghton Lake Michigan, worked for the Chrysler Corp in Muir Mi., retired in Apache Junction, AZ. Survived by his second wife Charlotte, Brother Bruce, his extended family of 5 children, Ronnie Lee, Dalynne, Robin, Vicki and Kim. The cremation took place at A Wise Choice funeral home in Apache Junction, AZ. He will be dearly missed by all and in our hearts forever.

Dale M Sloan, 80, of Apache Junction, Ariz. and formerly of Lyons and Muir, MI., passed away April 13, 2009 in Mesa, Ariz.
He was born Aug 5, 1928, the son of Milfred and Myrtle Sloan of Barryton, Mich. Dale served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, worked as a radio dispatcher for the Michigan State Police post in Houghton Lake. Dale and Darlo managed the Brass Rail Bar in Fowler for a few years, where a good time and good home cooking was enjoyed by many. He retired from the Chrysler Corp. in Lyons and moved to Apache Junction where he was known as the Great White Leader to family and friends. He enjoyed leading the way four wheeling and camping in the mountains of Arizona.
He is survived by his 2nd wife, Charlotte (Mickelsen) Sloan of 11 years, children, Ronnie, Dalynne, Robin, Vicki and Kim, brother Bruce Sloan of Grand Haven; sister-in-law Charlene Sloan of Mesa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Myrle, in 1986, and his wife of 45 years Darlo (Boyden) Sloan in 1993.
Cremation has taken place at A Wise Choice Funeral Home in Apache Junction. A private family memorial will take place at a later date. Family and friends may leave a message on legacy.com, an online guest book by the Arizona Republic.
