Fayette — Mr. and Mrs. Howard Stranahan returned Saturday from Brashears, Mo., where they had gone because of the death of Mr. Stranahan's sister, Mrs. Aubrey Zentz, last Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Stranahan went to Iowa City Tuesday to bring Mrs. Zentz, who had been a patient in the University hospital for nearly eight weeks for brain surgery, to their home in Fayette for recuperation and care; Mrs. Zentz died suddenly just after they had placed her in the car in preparation for the trip to Fayette; Bessie Stranahan Zentz was bom Nov. 27, 1894, near Fayette county, daughter of Warren and Ada (Homewood) Stranahan; in 1904 the family moved to a farm near Brashears, Mo.; married Jan. 11, 1914, to Aubrey Leon Zentz, and they have one son, Alfred Leon; made their home on a farm near Brashears; leaves husband, son, two grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters, Mrs. Sheldon, Chittenden, and Howard Stranahan, Fayette; Mrs. Leonard Davies, Iowa City, and W. W. Stranahan, Lexington, Ill.; father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Stranahan, Chandler, Ariz; was preceded in death of her mother and one sister; funeral services and burial were at Brashears.
