Millerick - In this city, December 31,1891 Mary, beloved wife of Michael Millerick and mother of John, George, Mary, Annie, Phillip, William, Catherine and Maggie Millerick and Mrs. J. Calazhan, a native of County Clare, Ireland, aged 56 years.
Friends and acquaintance respectfully invited to attend the funeral TO-MORROW {Saturday} at 8:30 o'clock a.m. from her late residence, 385 Gate street, Bernal Heights; thence to St. Paul's church where solemn requiem mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul, commencing at 9 o'clock. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. (Hartford,Conn. and Petaluma,CA please copy.)

Sadly, both Mary and her husband Michael succumbed to an influenza-type illness within days of one another. They had previously resided in various locations in Sonoma County, Marin County, and at Grizzly Island before locating in urban San Francisco. Many of their Millerick cousins still reside in those areas of California.
Their son Phillip went on to own Millerick Publishing Company in San Francisco with other sons working in the trades in San Francisco. Michael, born in Ireland, was a cousin of many Millerick descendants of Petaluma,California area and the Millerick Circle M Ranch family of Sonoma, California which became Sonoma Creek Winery, then The Larson Family Winery of Tom & Becky Larson. Tom is a son of Helen Millerick who married Robert Fallon Larson, DVM. Helen's brother George Leo Millerick had also been a Veternarian with an office in Hayward, Alameda County, CA..
