Anne M. Yocom--Funeral services for Mrs. Anne Marie Yocom, 70, of 285 West Pine St, Central Point, who died Tuesday, will be held at 2:30 Friday in Conger-Morris Chapel. Mr. Howard Mooney will officiate. Committal will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Yocom was born March 29, 1895 in Centerville, Wash., and had lived in southern Oregon for the past 44 years. She was married June 12, 1917 at Vancouver, Wash [Nov 28, 1914 in Kittitas Co.], to Emmette Rollo Yocom, who preceded her in death in December 1961.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Anthony (Betty) Knight, Sherwood, OR; a son, Taylor Yocom, Hornbrook, Calif., three sisters, Mrs. Ida Jackson, Portland, Ore., Mrs. Hilda Hughes, Hood River, Ore., and Mrs. Jennie Clark, Long Beach, Calif., three brothers, John Karjala, Portland, Ore., and Leo Erickson and Hilmer Erickson, both of Centerville, Wash.; 11 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Two grandsons, Richard and Robert Yocom, preceded her in death last year.
Casket bearers will include Myron Corcoran, Marion Williams, Claude Alsop, Russell Winn, John Hackett and Ira Vincent."
