John Philips Henry, Jr., 91, of Memphis, died July 1, 2010 at Methodist University Hospital. Mr. Henry, retired vice-president of Tayloe Glass Company, attended Southwestern (now Rhodes College) and served in WWII in the Air Force as flight engineer in North Africa and the European Theatre with the 9th Air Force and First Allied Airborne. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Kommer Henry. He is survived by his daughter, Jane H. Minnella of Tucson, AZ and his son, John Philips Henry, III of Palm Beach Gardens, Fl. He is also survived by his brother, E. William Henry of Memphis and one granddaughter, Mackenzie Minnella. Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Memorial Park Cemetery.
