Mrs. Scott died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000 at her home.
She was born June 30, 1947 in Deatsville, Ala., the daughter of Robert and Marshall Johnson. Her parents are deceased.
Surviving are her husband, Clyde Scott, whom she married Dec. 12, 1964; one son and his friend, Marcus Scott and Kiavia Hudson of Atlanta, Ga; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kim Scott and friend, Phillip Richardson, both of Kankakee, Jackie and Daniel Harcar of Streator; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Willie and Jessie Johnson, Adam and Helen Johnson, Jeffery Johnson, all of Kankakee; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Clyde Moore of Lockport, Julia and Steven Brewer, Lilly and Lester Terry, all of Hopkins Park, Viola and Stephen Burse of Kankakee; a sister-in-law, Annie Williams and a brother-in-law, Curley Scott, both of Hopkins Park; three aunts; three grandchildren; and several other relatives.
Mrs. Scott had worked in dietary at Shapiro Developmental Center and later worked in medical records at Manteno State Hospital. She also was a certified nurse's aid for Tri-Med Company.
She was a resident of the area since 1955.
She was a 1964 graduate of St. Anne High School.
She enjoyed bowling, fishing, cooking and singing with the Johnsonnaires.
