Mr. Robert Milo Allen, 64, entered into rest Saturday morning, November 25, 1972, at the McDuffie County Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Reedy Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Lee Pulliam officiating assisted by Dr. Amplus Howard. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be George Phillips, Jack Terry, James Lee Hobbs, Macon McTier, Everett Hadden and Melvin Todd.

He was a native of Jefferson County, a farmer and served in the Army from 1929 to 1935. He was a member of Reedy Creek Baptist Church and a former training union director with the church and past director of the Men's Bible Class.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Charlotte Linnenkohl Allen, Stapleton; three daughters, Mrs. Joyce Sheppard, Thomson, Ga., Evelyn Argo, Smyrna, Ga., and Miss Barbara Allen, Augusta; two sons, Grady Robert Allen, Atlanta, and Lester Hoyt Allen, Statesboro, Ga.; four sisters, Mrs. Florence Hobbs, Dearing, Ga., Mrs. Hattie Rogers, Stapleton, and Mrs. Alma Clements and Mrs. Elsie Usry, both of Wrens; three brothers, Floyd Allen, Avera, Ga., Albert Allen and Eugene Allen, Wrens; stepmother, Mrs. Annie Allen, and stepsister, Mrs. Frances Dobson, Byron, Ga. M.W. Callaway and Sons Funeral Home.
