Mr. Jim Turner Dukes, 17, entered into rest at 9 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 1940, when an automobile struck his bicycle in Wrens, Georgia while he was returning home from church. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at Mount Horeb Baptist Church with the Rev. E.R. Lewis officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dorsey A. Dukes of Wrens; four sisters, Dora, Natalie, Annette and Ruth Dukes, all of Wrens; four brothers, Judson Dukes, Matthews, Glenn Dukes, John Dukes and William R. Dukes, all of Wrens, and his grandmother, Mrs. Fannie Wren of Wrens. S.A. Blanchard Funeral Home.
