Peterson, 101, of Medford, Oregon, passed away Friday, April 27, 2001, at Medford Rehabilitation. She was born Nov. 29, 1899 in Cascade, Iowa, the daughter of John and Mary Agnes Reisdorf.     Marie married George Modaff in 1918 in Aurora, and was a homemaker who liked to play cards and crochet. She also worked at Hartz Rexall Drugs, and later at Burhan's Drugstore in Aurora, until her retirement in 1970    In 1975, Marie and George moved to Medford Oregon and George died a few months later. She later married Victor Peterson of Medford, Oregon who passed away in 1988.    Marie is survived by her daughter, Ruby Ellison of Medford, Oregon, 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.    She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters, as well as three children: Clifford Modaff, Fred Modaff and Gladys (Modaff) Assell, and one grandson, David Weidert.   Marie was cremated at Perles Mortuary in Medford Oregon and will be buried Saturday, May 19, 2001, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Aurora, Illinois at 10:00 a.m. Any of Marie's friends and relatives are welcome to attend an informal gathering at her graveside at this time, as there will not be a formal service.
