Railroad engineer. He worked for the Michigan-Central line and the Wheeling & Lake Erie Railroad. He was engineer on the last passenger train to leave Toledo when the Wheeling & Lake Erie stopped passenger service May 31 1932. He was one of the oldest Masons in Toledo. He receive his Masonic degrees in Norwalk and became a charter member of the Barton Smith Lodge in Toledo in 1912. Om 1936 he was awarded a 50 year jewel by the Grand Lodge of Ohio.
