Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7, at Targhetta and Wooldridge Funeral Home in Brighton. Burial took place at Brighton Cemetery. Visitation was held on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
He was born in Wood River Township on June 30, 1937, a son of Lawrence and Lucille Frey St. Cin. He married Caroline "Tootsie" Kruse on November 27, 1959, in Alton, and she preceded him in death in 2001.
His survivors include a son, Gary W. (wife Teresa) St. Cin, Jr. of Coal City; sisters, Esther "Sis" (husband Glen) Watts of Litchfield, Joyce (husband Robert) Handlin of Brighton; brothers, Sonny (wife Ann) St. Cin of Highland, Allen (wife Carol) St. Cin of Gillespie; three grandchildren, Allison, Aubrey, and Shelby St. Cin; and a sister-in-law, Mary St. Cin of Granite City.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Paul St. Cin.
