Married Helen Sabol of Groveton, PA in 1926 while his father managed the Groveton Hotel; Father of Robert Jr. b. August 14, 1926; Joseph Marion July 29, 1936; and Richard, Sept 11, 1941. Died of pancreatic cancer in Suburban General Hospital, Bellvue, PA September 8, 1979.
