Doyle E. Savage, 77, of Independence,Mo passed away Thursday January 4,2007 at Rosewood.
Doyle was born February 27,1929 near Gravity,Iowa, the son of Cleo N. and Lillian M. (Bright) Savage. He retired from Bendix Corporation in Kansas City. Doyle was of the Christian faith and a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean War. Doyle was an avid wood worker.
His survivors include his wife of 59 years, Annabel Savage of the home,one son Robert Savage and his wife, Julie of Independence,Mo,one daughter,Susan Keleher and husband Dan, of Sibley,Mo, four grandchildren,Alisha and Micah Keleher and one great grandchildren,Micah,Jr and best friend,Sam, Cassie and Joel Savage.
Graveside services will be noon Monday,January 8, 2007 at Washington Cemetery in Gravity,Iowa
