RONALD HAZELTON BOORSE, 75, passed away on July 6, 2010, after a short battle with cancer, at home surrounded by his family. Ron was born on May 17, 1935 in New York City, NY to the late Margaret Vivian and Henry Abraham Boorse. He was a graduate of Columbia University. In 1960 Ron started a career in the business forms industry working for Standard Register in NY. Eventually moving to Houston he started his own business, United Business Forms, Inc., in 1979 which he continued till his retirement in 2005. He was an active member in Industry Associations as well as the South End Optimist Club. He is preceeded in death by his son John Ronald Boorse. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Linda and Mark Powers of San Diego, CA. His son Henry Abraham Boorse, II of Houston, TX. His Daughter Alexis R. Marly of Houston, TX. His grandchildren Laura, Nicole and Mitchell Powers of San Diego, CA and Julia Emerson Marly of Houston, TX. His Sister and Brother-in-Law Suzanne and Claude Remond of Round Top, TX and his Ex-Wife Peggy J. Boorse. Ron will be buried at George Washington Memorial Cemetary in Paramus, New Jersey. The family will receive visitors at his home on Saturday, July 10, 2010 from 4:00pm 7:00pm.
