Orangeburg - Mrs. Ethlyn Davis Hutto, 86, of Jolly Acres Health Care Center, Orangeburg, died Thursday, December 13, 2007, at Jolly Acres Health Care Center. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, December 15, in the Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. John Smith officiating. Mrs. Hutto was born in Norway, a daughter of the late Carl Wardlaw Davis and Mary Jamison Davis. She was retired from Kerrisons Department Store in Charleston. Mrs. Hutto was a member of First Baptist Church of John's Island. She was the widow of Ceble Hampton Hutto. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Wyatt) Bruner, Orangeburg; Ms. Diane Smith, Summerville. one son; C. Donald Hutto, Spartanburg; four sisters, Mrs. Clyde (Miriam) Kemmerlin of Orangeburg, Mrs. Patsy Hendricks, Branchville, Mrs. Robert (Charlotte) Harrell, Charleston, Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Parnell, Summerville; two brothers, LeBlond C. Davis, Orangeburg, Murray L. Davis, Columbia, nine grandchildren, eight grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Jolley Acres, 1180 Wolfe Tr., Orangeburg, 29115 or to the Omar Shrine Center, 176 Patriots Point, Mount Pleasant, 29464. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home.
