Glenda Killingsworth was probably the most important person in my life. She took me in when no one else would give me a second thought. (Not even my own mother) I was not the best kid but, I sure was not the worse. I remember every morning sitting around the breakfast table with Glenda drinking HOBO coffee, as she called it. (Boiled coffee grounds) and of coarse having our cigaretts. I truely love Glenda, who was my surrogate mother as far as I was concerned. She love to listen to Ernest Tubb and Merle Haggard. She also loved to hear Becky (daughter)and myself play the guitars. One of the songs she loved to hear us play was Hickory Hollars Tramp.(Merle Haggard) My heart indures great pain since learning of her death. She will forever remain in my heart and forever remain alive inside my mind
