They were the parents of 8 children, only 4 of whom lived to adulthood: Harold, Mildred, Edgar and Hazel Freese. Myrtle passed away October 3, 1947, in Johnson County, and was buried in Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh, Johnson County, Indiana.

She was taken into the home of her grandfather, Alexander Condon, Hamblen Township, where she was reared. She married July 17, 1896, in Edinburgh, Johnson County, to William Freeze, born November 13, 1868, in Edinburgh, son of Joseph and Susan Johnson Freeze. They lived in Edinburgh where he was employed by trade a tinner. He was a member of the Masons and Knights of Columbus Lodges. They were both members of the Methodist Church and voted Independent. Their children were: Harold, born October 22, 1899, Mildred, born August 31, 1902, Edgar, born September 3, 1905, and Hazel, born July 14, 1905."
