Anne Brock Clarke, 92, of Hilliard FL, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 21, 2015. She was born on September 19, 1922 in Atlanta GA to Schuyler Colfax and Eddie Izzadora Brock. Anne attended Maryville College in Maryville Tennessee, she and her family owned and operated Clarkes Grocery for many years, she was a member of the Hilliard First Baptist Church, a “master” quilter, loved gardening and was a devoted wife and mother.
Anne was preceded in death by her husband; Marcus Lamar Clarke, parents; Schuyler Colfax and Eddie Izzadora Brock and her brother; Schuyler Colfax Brock Jr. She is survived by her daughters; Kathleen Anne Clarke (Michael Abel), Amanda Suzanne Nixon (David Nixon), Marcia Lee Robinson (Hal Robinson), Barbara Clarke Vanzant (Grady Vanzant), Judy Lorraine Ingle (Gary Ingle) and Karen Annette Clarke, son; Robert Phillip Estaver (Sharon Estaver), 20 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 3 nieces and 4 nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday August 24, 2015 from 6-8 pm in the Nassau Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 25, 2015 beginning at 11:00am in the Nassau Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Andy Smith officiating, interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Abel, David Nixon, Hal Robinson, Grady Vanzant, Gary Ingle and Kurt Gerhardt.
